In a post-apocalyptic world, three explorers enter a mysterious tower in search of a way to save their village. A pact with the Titan of Death lets them return after dying and continue their ascent.
Explore an interconnected, room-by-room tower, battling enemies and bosses, navigating platforming hazards, solving puzzles, and searching for hidden rooms and artifacts. Each of the three heroes has different weapons and abilities that help overcome specific obstacles.
Death sends the party back to the tower entrance, but collected orbs can be spent on permanent character upgrades. Unlock shortcuts and elevators, find new abilities and items, and use campfires to save progress and switch heroes.
Players often praise the tower’s exploration and secrets, the satisfying sense of progress from upgrades and new abilities, and the retro pixel art and soundtrack. Many also enjoy switching between heroes with distinct skills. Some reviews, however, find the repeated trips after death, limited healing, and early progression frustrating.
