We Love It's Guide to…

Retrograde Arena

Retrograde Arena is a multiplayer twin-stick shooter in which you pilot a customizable drone through combat arenas. Bullets do not directly kill; the danger comes from being pushed into the arenas’ deadly surroundings. Weapons are also movement tools: their recoil can propel your drone, while their different effects let you push opponents, deflect attacks, or change how a fight unfolds. Positioning and momentum matter as much as aiming. Play online or locally with friends, or take on AI, in modes including Supersizer, King of the Crown, and Last Drone Standing. Arenas have distinct layouts and may include switches or movable scenery; you can unlock drone textures, thrusters, and particle effects.

Control a drone in neon arenas, using weapon recoil and physics to launch rivals into deadly hazards instead of killing with bullets.
