Kind Words is a quiet, letter-based experience set in a cozy virtual room. You can anonymously write short requests about worries or questions, then read requests from other players.
Respond to other players with letters of comfort, sympathy, or advice, and receive replies to your own requests. The exchanges are asynchronous, with players remaining anonymous.
Letters can include stickers, which you can copy to send as thanks. Collect stickers and display their associated 3D toys in your room while listening to the game's music.
Players often value the anonymous exchange of letters, saying that offering support and receiving replies can help them feel heard or less alone. Many also praise the relaxed room and music as a calming setting. Some reviewers find the replies too generic or positive to offer practical advice, and others mention short writing limits or that the subject matter can feel heavy.
Has something got you down? Stressed you out? Scared you? That's pretty normal. It might help you to talk about it.
In Kind Words, players anonymously write out their concerns and sorrows by making short requests for letters.
Everyone can respond to requests with letters of comfort, sympathy or gentle advice.
Kind Words is a positive context; a warm, cozy mood. A place to feel centered and focused on the opportunity presented:
Use your words to lift others and be lifted in return.
You start the game with a couple random stickers in their inventory.
Stickers can be placed on letters written to others or sent as an appreciative response to a letter that has been received.
Once you get a new sticker, you can make copies of that sticker to send out to other players.
Each sticker also comes with a 3D toy that you can put on display in your room.
Swap letters to build up your collection of stickers and room decorations!

Kind Words 2 exists and it is awesome! But this original version of Kind Words is still supported. In fact, the two games share save files and players of both games can write to each other. Enjoy the heck out of Kind Words and when you're ready, hop on over to Kind Words 2 for an expanded experience!
