Wake and Kirby are two young runaways who find themselves in the Deep Woods, a strange forest filled with mysteries and danger. As they explore, they encounter its inhabitants and become involved in efforts to protect the realm.

You guide the children and command Spritelings, small magical creatures with different abilities. Send them to clear obstacles, gather items, fight enemies, build paths, and solve environmental puzzles as you explore forests, caves, shores, and ruins.

New Spriteling types let you reach places that were previously inaccessible. Gather resources to craft items and upgrades, manage your supplies, and plan around the day-and-night cycle: the woods become more dangerous after dark, making camp a place of safety.

Many reviewers enjoy the hand-painted look, atmospheric music, and storybook tone, along with puzzles that make use of the Spritelings’ different abilities. Players also often describe the exploration and creature-commanding loop as relaxing and charming.
