You take the role of a wizard in a fantasy world centered on a magical tower and its surrounding areas. Skully, a talking skull companion, comments on your actions and can be spoken to or handled as you explore.
Experiment with magic by combining ingredients in a cauldron, using potions and artifacts, casting spells with gestures or voice, and manipulating objects with magical forces. You can also solve puzzles, uncover secrets, and take on combat encounters.
The experience combines open-ended play in the tower with more structured exploration, including the Observer Fortress. Discoveries, spells, and achievements offer goals to pursue, though much of the play is driven by experimentation. It supports VR as well as mouse, keyboard, or controller play on a screen.
Players often enjoy Skully’s funny, responsive banter and the freedom to experiment with spells and objects in the wizard’s spaces. Reviews also praise the hands-on feel in VR and the secrets and activities to discover. Skully is an on-device AI character that features thousands of voice-acted dialogues and an enormous range of unique reactions.
