Paralives is a sandbox life simulation where you create characters and decide how their lives unfold. There is no fixed story: you can focus on work, relationships, family, or other personal goals.
Manage characters’ needs, develop their skills and careers, and build friendships, romances, or rivalries. Conversations offer choices shaped by personality, while goals, town tasks, and storyteller events can provide direction and progression.
Customize characters’ appearances, heights, and layered outfits, then build and furnish their homes with flexible tools for curved walls, split-level floors, and freely positioned objects. The town offers places to visit, and the game includes tools for creating or adding community-made content.

In this selected sample, players often enjoy the freedom of the building tools and character creator, along with exploring the town and shaping their characters’ stories. Some also praise the goals, events, and conversation systems for adding direction. Opinions on life simulation are divided: while some find it engaging, others describe the current live gameplay as shallow or repetitive, with characters lacking initiative. Thanks to an ever-evolving catalog of furniture, decor and clutter objects, staging the perfect homes for your Parafolks will be a breeze: resize, recolor, stack and place items freely for a tactile building experience.
Paralives allows truly grid-less constructions with curved walls, split-level floors and more. Recreating your house or building an intricate 8-story mansion has never been this easy.
You will be handed an advanced character creator called the Paramaker. Adjust the height of your Parafolks, tweak a wide array of facial and body features, design stylish outfits and create complex personalities. From head to toe, no small detail will be left out!
