Across four campaigns, take the role of a legendary hero fighting in a war-torn fantasy world. You lead your forces while joining the battle yourself, combining command decisions with direct combat.
Give orders to infantry, cavalry, archers, and other units from a tactical map, then control your hero in melee with attacks and special moves. Positioning, enemy officers, terrain, and changing weather can all affect the fight.
Earn spoils of war and use them to develop your army. Units gain experience, can change class, and can receive new equipment and abilities; the campaign also lets you bring specialized forces such as airships and giant monsters.
