Set decades after Girls’ Frontline, the story follows Antarctic Union agent Mendo and Jefuty, a mysterious girl he encounters during a mission in the North Caucasus. Together they navigate a conflict with URNC forces and investigate secrets surrounding the GRAVIRUL Project.
Missions use turn-based, grid-based tactics, with a small squad facing larger enemy forces. Positioning, terrain, action points, character skills, weapons, and deployable items all shape each turn; some stages instead focus on stealth, puzzles, or other mission objectives.
Across more than 60 campaign stages, new characters, skills, equipment, and items expand your options. Branching timelines, replayable missions, rank conditions, and hidden documents add further goals and paths through the story.
In the supplied reviews, players often praise the tactical battles for making them think carefully about positioning, action points, equipment, and limited resources, and many find overcoming the odds satisfying. The story, characters, and visual presentation also draw frequent appreciation. Opinions on the demanding difficulty and stealth stages are divided: some enjoy them as careful puzzles, while others find their routes rigid and their trial-and-error frustrating.
