Adventure Escape Mysteries is a collection of separate, chapter-based adventures rather than one continuous story. Depending on the episode, you might play a detective investigating a crime, help a fantasy hero uncover a curse, or guide a character through a horror mystery.
Explore illustrated scenes, inspect clues, collect useful objects, and use them to solve environmental puzzles and minigames. Observation and deduction help you work out codes, interpret details, and open new paths through each story.
Stories are divided into episodes, and new chapters are unlocked with keys. Keys regenerate over time, with a limit on how many you can hold; some additional content and faster unlocks are available through purchases. Hints can help with puzzles, and some stories offer choices or character selection.
