You captain a United Defense Force starship tasked with defending Earth from the Phasmids and rogue androids. Recruit and train crew members, then lead them on missions across the galaxy.
During sorties, assign crew to stations and tasks while fighting enemy ships, targeting threats, and responding to emergencies such as fires, damage, and boarding parties. Crew abilities and ship power allocation help you manage combat and keep the vessel operating.
Between missions, develop your crew and upgrade or customize your ship with equipment such as weapons, armor, and engines. Away Team missions send three crew members on foot to explore outposts and vessels, solve puzzles, or fight; the edition also includes the Android Ambush campaign.
