You play as a small cat separated from home in a colorful urban setting. The main objective is to find a route back while meeting the animals that live around the city.
Exploration is the central activity: roam streets, alleys, rooftops, shops, and other spaces; climb and platform across the environment; interact with people, animals, and objects; complete small quests; and cause harmless cat-like chaos.
Progress comes through helping animal characters, collecting shinies, feathers, fish, hats, and other items, and improving access to new routes and areas. The game also includes cat customization, photo mode, emotes, fast travel, optional challenges, and collectibles to pursue beyond the main route.
