Scavengers

Scavengers was a team-based shooter set in a frozen wasteland. Players formed squads of three and chose an Explorer equipped with weapons and unique abilities.

Squads explored the map, gathered resources, fought hostile AI and competing teams, and tried to survive the harsh environment. Blizzards brought the threat of hypothermia, so players sought shelter or made items to keep warm.

The game combined sandbox-style PvE with class-based PvP. Its servers shut down on December 16, 2022, and the game is no longer playable.

Players who enjoyed Scavengers often praised its blend of PvE and PvP, the survival challenges of its frozen setting, and the feel of moving across snow. Some also liked playing with friends. Reviews also express sadness about the shutdown, while others mention loading or connection problems, waiting and upgrade grind, or a decline in the game’s mechanics.
