In an alternate 1980s, you arrive at the National Nightly News as a studio cleaner and end up operating its live broadcast while a radical government rises to power.
During each broadcast, switch among four camera feeds, censor swearing or information, choose headlines and cue advertisements. You also have to respond to interference while keeping the show on air.
Your editorial choices shape how viewers see the news and the people featured in it, with consequences for public opinion and the political climate. The prologue introduces these broadcast controls and decisions.
Several reviewers enjoy the tense, busy feel of managing a live broadcast and the satirical take on shaping public opinion. Black humor and the live-action presentation also stand out in positive comments. One detailed review criticizes the prologue for being very short and overly guided, while another describes the broadcast as stressful.
