Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition follows three characters caught up in Liberty City's criminal underworld. Niko Bellic arrives hoping to build a new life, while Johnny Klebitz and Luis Lopez navigate gang conflict and loyalties of their own.
Explore the city on foot and by vehicle, take on story missions, fight enemies, evade police and drive through traffic-heavy streets. The campaigns bring different perspectives on the city, with stories that cross paths.
Use a phone to contact friends and spend time with them around town, and explore activities and interiors such as bowling alleys, restaurants and internet cafes. The Complete Edition includes the main campaign and two separate episodes: The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony.
In the supplied reviews, players often praise Niko’s story and the distinct characters, alongside Liberty City’s bleak, lived-in atmosphere. Many also enjoy the weighty vehicle handling and physics, and value the two additional episodes. These positives are frequently paired with complaints about the PC version’s performance, bugs and required launcher; some players report a smooth experience, while others describe major problems.
