We Love It's Guide to…

A Way Out

A Way Out is a co-op-only adventure about Leo and Vincent, two prisoners who join forces to escape. Each player controls one inmate as their uneasy partnership takes them beyond the prison. The game is built around two players working together. A split-screen view shows both characters, who may need to tackle different tasks at once, such as distracting a guard while the other searches for a way forward. Players coordinate to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and interact with people they meet. The story shifts between stealth, fights, chases, driving, shooting, and quieter diversions such as fishing and mini-games. Some situations let players take a more forceful or cautious approach, while the changing activities carry the pair through the adventure.

Two players control inmates Leo and Vincent, coordinating a prison escape that unfolds into a varied crime adventure.
