You take the captain’s seat in a single-player sci-fi roguelike, guiding a ship through a story campaign as you encounter rival crews, space stations, abandoned colonies, and shifting events. Decisions along the way shape how you approach the journey.
Combat is tactical and can be paused. You choose weapons and ship systems, direct crew members to tasks that use their strengths, and respond to threats such as damage and disabled systems. Death is permanent, so each encounter can put a run at risk.
Gather resources to improve your ship and weapons, and gain experience through quests, events, and battles. Procedural generation changes the journey between runs; the game also includes an endless mode and a selection of ships to command.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its tactical spaceship battles, crew and ship-building choices, and familiar space-strategy format with some different mechanics. Visuals and music also earn praise. These reactions are mixed with frequent complaints about uneven difficulty and balance, while some players find the campaign short or the combat interface hard to read.
