You play Hawke, a refugee who flees Ferelden with family during a darkspawn invasion and seeks a new life in Kirkwall. Over the years, Hawke can rise from newcomer to the city’s Champion.
Take on quests around Kirkwall and its surroundings, choose to play as a warrior, rogue, or mage, and fight alongside three companions. Combat supports fast-paced action or pausing to issue individual orders; dialogue choices also shape Hawke’s manner and responses.
