Take the wheel of official drivers and cars across three WRC categories, racing through rallies in varied locations. Stages feature gravel, snow and asphalt, with changing weather and day-night conditions.
Driving is built around pace notes and adapting your speed and handling to each road. Tire wear and vehicle damage affect multi-stage events, while car setups and service breaks give you ways to prepare and recover.
Quick rally and season modes let you focus on racing, while career progression adds team management, hiring, finances and vehicle upgrades as you move through the categories. Classic cars and historical events provide additional rally challenges.
Players who enjoy WRC 9 often praise its range of rally stages, the way different surfaces and weather shape driving, and the satisfaction of improving through demanding events. Some also enjoy its visuals and career progression. Opinions on handling vary, and many sampled reviews report that online features, including racing with friends, are unavailable because the servers are not working.
