We Love It's Guide to…

Progressbar95

Progressbar95 casts you as a user of a fictional retro computer. Its central challenge is to fill a progress bar by catching useful segments while avoiding harmful ones and dealing with pop-ups and other distractions. Alongside the main bar-filling mode, you can play computer-themed mini-games such as Minesweeper, Solitaire, and Pinball. The game also includes a text-based DOS adventure, a simulated internet, BASIC programming, and a trash-bin pet to care for. Completing levels earns points for unlocking computer parts and operating systems, each with its own visual style and mechanics. Missions, achievements, upgrades, and many further unlocks provide longer-term goals.

Fill a retro computer's progress bar by catching useful segments, dodging pop-ups, and unlocking new systems and mini-games.
