Play football with teams drawn from a large roster of players, clubs, leagues, and licensed competitions. Matches form the core of the game, with options for solo play, local multiplayer, and online competition.
VOLTA FOOTBALL shifts to small-sided street matches across more than 20 playgrounds. Create an avatar and customize its gear; VOLTA SQUADS lets you play with up to three friends or join other players.
In Ultimate Team, assemble a squad of past and present players, develop a home stadium, and compete online, including co-op matches for rewards. Career Mode puts you in charge of a team’s matches, transfers, and training, while House Rules offers matches with altered or absent rules.
In this review sample, some players appreciate Career Mode’s added management options, the selection of leagues, and gameplay they find enjoyable or realistic. Others repeatedly criticize how little they feel the series changes, describe matches as scripted or defending as weak, and report problems with online access or connections. Monetization in Ultimate Team is another complaint. These reviews reflect varied individual experiences, not a representative survey.
