You play as a diver investigating underwater sites while an ancient Kraken called Death influences marine creatures to attack. Campaign missions send you through reefs, wrecks, caves, and ruins as you pursue objectives and uncover the threat.
Each dive gives you time to explore, find treasure chests, gather ammunition and medical supplies, and replenish oxygen. When the attack begins, hostile sea life comes in waves; use underwater movement and your weapons to survive and clear the mission.
Treasure provides funds to unlock and upgrade weapons and gear between dives. Alongside the campaign, the game offers Survival mode with endless waves, Free Roam without attacks, and New Game+ with tougher challenges.

Some also enjoy the weapon choices and upgrades. Others find the repeated explore-then-fight mission structure gets monotonous, and several wanted more story, variety, or clearer direction.
