You rule Davern as King Eryk amid threats to the kingdom and troubles at home. When an old friend asks for help, you must manage the crisis while supporting your family, including a sick young heir.
Each week, petitioners bring problems to your court. Decide whom to help, allocate limited resources, and send agents whose different skills can address requests. Taxes, laws, supplies and public happiness also shape how you manage the realm.
The campaign unfolds across chapters, with agents taking on personal quests and expeditions revealing more of the surrounding world. You also care for your children and prepare for war; dialogue and decisions can affect relationships and some character outcomes.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its continuing royal-family story, memorable characters, pixel-art visuals and soundtrack. Each agent brings a unique and invaluable skill set, alongside their distinctive personalities. While they can aid in resolving courtly matters, be wary—some may stir trouble with personal or romantic entanglements. Follow the agents’ stories, assisting them in resolving complex dilemmas, as you carefully select who will stand by your side in the impending war.
