80's OVERDRIVE is a 2D pixelart racing game, designed to take you back in time to when 8 and 16 bit consoles and arcade games ruled the world. Compete against opponents in career mode to unlock new races, buy new cars and upgrade them with state-of-the-art technologies!

You play as a street racer working up through a career of arcade races. Win events to unlock more races, earn money, and compete on colorful, retro-styled roads.
Steer around rival racers, ordinary traffic, and police while managing speed and avoiding collisions. Nitro boosts can help you pass, while crashes can cost time and damage your car.
Spend race earnings on cars, upgrades, fuel, and repairs. Side missions add extra objectives to some career races; Time Attack challenges you to keep going by reaching checkpoints and gaining time from overtaking traffic. A track generator lets you set parameters for generated courses.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its colorful pixel-art presentation, synthwave soundtrack, and nostalgic arcade-racing feel, and some find its simple races relaxing or fun in short sessions. Recurring criticisms include collisions and traffic or police encounters that can abruptly ruin a race, along with career costs and repeated races that some players find tedious.
