You play as Luna Youngman, a criminal analyst investigating reports about suspicious people in her town. Over a series of nights, you must decide which people pose a threat and which are harmless.
Using a simulated computer system, you examine evidence such as police records, social media, text conversations, photos, purchases, and search histories. You can use a phone-cracking tool to access additional information before classifying and submitting each report.
Investigation competes with keeping Luna safe at home: leave the computer to check your surroundings, close windows, keep lights on, and respond to signs of intruders. The game spans ten simulated nights, with modes that vary the challenge and whether home-invasion threats are present.
Players who enjoy the game often praise the mix of digital detective work and home-invasion horror. Reviews highlight the satisfaction of piecing together case evidence, the variety of reports, and the tension of watching the house while working. Some appreciate the demanding challenge, while others find the difficulty and survival pressure frustrating.
