You return to Dreamlight Valley, once a harmonious home for Disney and Pixar characters, after the Forgetting covers it in Night Thorns and drives its residents behind locked doors. Explore the valley and its surrounding regions as you work to bring its inhabitants and memories back.
Take on quests and puzzles, gather resources, farm, fish, mine, cook, and craft. Explore character realms and unlock new areas as you progress through the valley’s story and its residents’ individual quests.
Build friendships through conversations, gifts, and shared activities, with each resident offering a story arc, quests, and rewards. Customize your character and home, then arrange buildings, decorations, and landscaping to shape the valley to your liking.
Reviewers who enjoy the game often praise its relaxed, flexible pace, nostalgic Disney character interactions, and the freedom to decorate and customize the valley. Many also like having quests, collecting, and other activities to return to. At the same time, complaints about premium purchases and paid expansions are especially prominent in the supplied reviews.
