You play as Lugh, an amnesiac blacksmith who awakens in a strange world with a cursed black sword. Guided by a mysterious woman, he ventures into a labyrinth to recover memories and uncover the truth behind the world.
The labyrinth changes between expeditions and is explored one turn at a time: enemies act whenever you move. You gather materials, navigate traps, and decide when to fight or retreat while managing health, supplies, and a rising Erosion gauge.
Forge weapons from collected materials, then use them in battle until their durability runs out; broken weapons provide materials and skills for future creations. Souls earned during expeditions fund permanent upgrades, while recovered memories reveal more of the story. The game also includes adult scenes.
Players who enjoy the game often point to its forge-and-break weapon loop, the planning involved in turn-based combat, and the freedom to shape builds from materials and inherited skills.
