A cryptic message from your missing father draws you to a remote island tied to secret experiments. You explore its settlements and facilities, follow quests, and search for clues about what happened there and your father’s role.
Scavenge supplies and materials, then use them to craft equipment, prepare food, and repair and upgrade your father’s farm. The farm is improved through set renovations rather than freely placing buildings. A pickup truck helps carry supplies and can itself be upgraded.
The island’s nightly beam restores power to some abandoned machinery and facilities, while also awakening or strengthening monsters. Quests and challenges provide objectives and knowledge points for character skills; farming and other crafting activities support longer trips across the island.
