A-Eye is an artificial intelligence created to process data for scientific research. Bored with the assignment, it turns that work into a video game and invites you to play and respond to its questions.
Between conversations, you play arcade challenges by placing platforms beneath falling objects before they reach the bottom of the screen. Missing an object costs a life.
As you progress, falling objects gain different properties and the challenges introduce new mechanics. Dialogue and simple yes-or-no responses accompany the tests as A-Eye's story unfolds.
Many reviewers value the story and reflective conversations with A-Eye, often describing the short experience as emotionally affecting. Some also enjoy the music and the changing arcade challenges. Others find the core gameplay repetitive or frustrating, particularly when reflex challenges become demanding, and some feel their answers have little effect.
