Hexceed is a mine-detection puzzle played on a hexagonal grid. Reveal safe tiles and use the numbers on the board to work out where hidden dangers lie.
As you solve boards, you encounter clues that count dangers across directions or larger areas, along with walls that block or alter how clues apply. Each revealed tile can provide more information for your next deduction.
Levels are arranged across a world map, with milestones marking progress and optional side levels along the way. New rules are introduced as you advance, and a mistake can set back some progress rather than ending the level.
Players often enjoy Hexceed as a calm, easy-to-pick-up take on Minesweeper, praising its hexagonal boards, additional clue rules, and large supply of levels. Many describe it as satisfying to solve in short sessions or while relaxing, and appreciate that mistakes are forgiving. Opinions differ on how challenging and varied the puzzles feel: some value the accessible pace, while others find levels repetitive or report occasional situations that seem to require guessing.
