You follow Loralyn, a pregnant interpreter working night shifts from home while her husband is away and she cares for her mentally ill father. After reading from an ancient book, she becomes caught up in an occult threat.
The story is presented as an interactive live-action film, using video calls, computer screens, and security-camera footage. You watch scenes and choose how Loralyn responds to work calls and events involving her family.
Choices send the story down different paths and lead to multiple endings. The game includes 15 ending variations and 220 scenes; a scene-skipping function unlocks for subsequent playthroughs.
Reviews often single out the webcam-and-security-feed presentation, the occult premise, and the branching choices as points of interest. Some players enjoy following different paths and endings, while others find the story, performances, horror, or replay experience underwhelming. The short, choice-driven FMV format is a key part of the experience, though reviewers differ on how engaging it is.
