Face unspeakable horrors. Succumb to madness. Welcome to a free daemonic narrative experience inspired by H. P. Lovecraft.

You experience the story as a former ship officer stranded on a strange island, where unsettling sights and memories unfold through a first-person adaptation of H. P. Lovecraft’s “Dagon.”
The game is a short, guided narrative: click to advance through 3D scenes, listen to the narration, and interact with selected objects. It focuses on building dread through its story and presentation rather than combat, puzzles, or branching choices.
Optional notes and collectibles add information about Lovecraft, his writing, and the story’s context. The experience can also be played in VR.
Players who enjoy the experience often praise its eerie atmosphere, narration, sound, and visuals for bringing Lovecraft’s story to life. Reviewers also appreciate the added author and story notes. Many describe it as interactive fiction or an illustrated audiobook rather than a traditional game, and some enjoy that focused format while others find the limited interaction and short runtime disappointing.

I am writing this under an appreciable mental strain, since by tonight I shall be no more.
Dagon is a 3D narrative experience in madness based on the cult short story of the same title by the master of cosmic horror and weird fiction, H. P. Lovecraft himself. It’s an interactive portal into the world of the controversial genius and his highly acclaimed Cthulhu Mythos, open to both newcomers and long-time devotees.
