IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 is a combat flight simulator that brings together content from earlier IL-2 releases and campaigns set during World War II and a hypothetical continuation into 1946. You take the role of a pilot serving in German, Soviet, or Japanese air forces.
Fly fighter and bomber missions involving dogfights, interceptions, bombing, and ground attacks across several theaters of war. The game includes single-player campaigns and missions, as well as multiplayer.
Choose from a large roster of aircraft, including fighters, bombers, and early jets. Campaigns group missions into pilot careers with varied objectives; a mission editor and community-made modifications offer further ways to configure missions and add content.
