You play as Ellie, an apprentice witch who stays in the woodland village of Wisteria and helps its residents. Her work brings her into contact with the village’s inhabitants and the plants and creatures living in the surrounding regions.
Explore forests and other areas on foot or by broom, gather ingredients, and record local wildlife in a witch’s encyclopedia. Process materials and brew potions or make candies, then use your creations to solve environmental puzzles, complete requests, and open up further exploration.
Story and villager quests introduce new areas and activities as Ellie’s apprenticeship progresses. Building relationships reveals more of the residents’ stories, while encyclopedia entries provide collection goals and unlock rewards.
