Keep your hunger and health in check, or neglect them and the City will claim you. Obtain food by farming, hunting, or interacting with NPCs. Scavenge for materials and salvageable components, and disassemble objects to recover parts to craft equipment.

Purchase properties and furnish them with appliances and workbenches to produce advanced items. Restore the electrical grid to bring power back to abandoned buildings and unlock new areas. Endure lethal nuclear radiation as you try to carve out your place in the city.
