Start a restaurant alone or with up to three other players. Choose a menu and make a plan for keeping the restaurant open as customer numbers grow.
During each shift, seat customers, take orders, cook and serve dishes, clear tables, and wash plates. Customers have limited patience, so the team must keep the restaurant running smoothly.
Between shifts, buy and rearrange equipment and furniture, upgrade tools, and adapt to new menu choices or challenges. Runs span up to 15 days; progression unlocks additions for future restaurants, which take shape in procedurally generated locations.
In the supplied reviews, players often enjoy coordinating restaurant tasks with friends, planning kitchen layouts, and experimenting with upgrades and automation. Many describe the changing menus and run-based progression as giving the game replay value. Solo play and the pressure of serving impatient customers draw mixed reactions: some enjoy the challenge, while others find it demanding or stressful. A number of reviewers also mention long unlock progression or frustration with the interface and item handling.
Up to four players build and run a restaurant from scratch, choosing dishes, buying and placing appliances – some of which can be daisy-chained together to create ambitious automatic kitchens – cooking food and serving customers.
Players have free rein to design their restaurant which will expand and develop between shifts – with additional content and challenges unlocked through progression.
