Corpse Keeper is a very challenging action-strategy roguelite. You'll need to lead a squad of three corpses to explore the grim and dark medieval world within limited time, build a powerful army of the living dead, and finally kill the demon lurking in the deep end of the cathedral.

You control a necromancer who sends a squad of three corpses into a dark medieval world to defeat the demon at the heart of a cathedral. Each expedition has a limited time, so you must choose how to prepare and where to venture.
Explore areas, fight enemies, collect resources and equipment, and decide which rooms and encounters are worth the risk. Combat focuses on attacks and defensive timing: parry, dodge, or roll to respond to enemy moves.
Your corpses decay as they are used, eventually collapsing when decay reaches its limit. Preservatives can help manage that process, while flesh and bones from defeated enemies let you create replacement fighters. Characters, equipment, and their special traits shape your lineup and how you approach each run.
Reviews praise the unusual corpse-building and squad-management concept, the dark gothic atmosphere, and—when it clicks—the tense, satisfying rhythm of parries and counters. Some players enjoy learning enemy patterns and adapting their fighters, while others find the combat limited or rough and the repeated, resource-heavy runs grindy. Opinions on the challenge and combat feel vary.
