In Los Angeles in 2019, you play Ray McCoy, a Blade Runner investigating animal killings and pursuing possible replicants. His case unfolds alongside the events of the film, through familiar city locations and encounters with suspects.
Explore scenes, collect clues, question people, and use investigative tools such as the ESPER photo-analysis machine and Voigt-Kampff replicant test. Occasional action sequences let McCoy draw and fire his weapon.
Choices and actions can affect the investigation and its outcomes. At the start of each playthrough, some characters’ human or replicant identities and other details are randomized, supporting different case developments and endings.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its rain-soaked noir atmosphere, its connection to the Blade Runner world, and its story running alongside the film.
