You play Harrod, a once-successful writer facing writer’s block, who visits the remote Mercury Abbey sanatorium with his nephew, Willie. In a society of personified animals where magic exists alongside early-20th-century technology, rumors of an old alchemical curse and strange events draw them into an investigation.
Explore the abbey and nearby locations in 2D, speaking with residents and examining objects for clues and background details. Harrod’s investigation is paired with sections featuring Willie’s platforming, plus occasional action sequences.
