You play as a golfer trapped in Golf Purgatory after dying just before a tournament-winning shot. To return to the living world, you must make your way through an 18-hole run, with ghostly caddies introducing the realm and its golfing rules.
Each hole is a side-scrolling course where you choose a club, set your shot’s power and angle, and use spin to guide the ball. Fans, spikes, TNT, teleporters, and other obstacles turn the route to the cup into a shot-planning challenge.
You must sink the ball within the hole’s PAR shot limit or be sent back to the start of the course. Shot Idols can restore attempts, while Ace Cards grant limited-use abilities that alter shots or help bypass hazards. Holes appear in varying orders, and route choices can lead to shops, cards, or other rewards.
