Have a Nice Death is a 2D action roguelike where you play as an overworked Death, whose employees have run rampant, completely throwing off the balance of souls - and his vacation plans. In order to restore order, you'll have to grab your trusty scythe and show your employees who's boss.

You play Death, an overworked boss at Death Inc. whose employees have thrown the company into chaos. He takes up his scythe to restore order and get back to his planned vacation. The darkly comic afterlife is arranged as a company, with themed departments, bosses, and coworkers.
Each run is a 2D side-scrolling action journey through rooms of enemies and platforming challenges, ending in department boss fights. Move, jump, and dash while chaining scythe attacks with spells and cloak abilities.
Choose routes based on their rewards, then collect weapons, spells, and run-long Curse buffs to shape your combat build. Runs reset their temporary gear and upgrades, while repeated attempts and post-run reviews unlock items and upgrades for the broader journey.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its distinctive art and animation, brisk combat, and the office-themed dark humor, with the soundtrack and range of weapons and powers also drawing positive comments.
