You play a star hunter in a postwar galaxy where rival factions compete for resources and territory. Starting with a small outpost and a pair of frigates, you take contracts and missions from factions and venture into distant star systems to search for bounties, resources, and mysterious items.
Develop your base by adding defenses and production facilities, gather resources, research technologies, and build a fleet from a range of ship types. Send fleets to explore, complete objectives, and fight; you can position them to ambush opponents or guard important routes, while battles unfold in 3D.
Fleet composition and ship upgrades shape your strategy as you take on increasingly difficult missions. You can join a squad for cooperative tasks or work with larger player communities to contest territory and attack major targets.
