You play as a Gajeshian Cultist, a being built from the bodies of long-dead saints, sent to the partially terraformed planet of Chrisembourgh on a mission to find and kill someone. Explore the planet and follow clues toward your target.
Fight biopunk creatures and space bandits in first-person combat with eight guns and a finger gun. Movement includes sliding across sand, and you can eat corpses to heal. The game features ten enemy types and three boss fights.
Harvest organs from enemies and install them to change your stats and shape your build. Organs can take damage and decay, so replacing them is part of managing your body. Explore three biomes, take on quests, and pursue multiple endings.
Players who enjoy Wrought Flesh often praise its unusual organ-based character building, strange biopunk setting, and fast shooter movement and combat. Some also highlight its visuals and soundtrack. Experiences are mixed, with reviews frequently noting technical problems and uneven gameplay alongside those distinctive ideas.
