This first-person co-op prologue follows Chris Hunt and Emily Wells, a child trapped in the past, as they investigate Wells Manor and try to free Emily. Each player inhabits a different point in the manor’s timeline.
Players explore their versions of the rooms, look for clues and hidden details, and communicate to solve five puzzles. The characters have different views of the same spaces, so information from one player can be essential to the other.
Emily’s actions in the past affect Chris’s world in the present, linking the two perspectives as players progress. The prologue also scatters papers and other lore through the manor, hinting at the mystery behind Emily’s situation.
