You captain the science vessel Ausflug alongside navigator Shii, with an adventure mode providing a story frame for exploring the Sixtar system.
Play songs in Lunar mode, which uses four or five keys, or Solar mode, which uses six or seven. As gates open and close during a track, the active lanes change, so you must adjust to shifting note patterns.
Travel Mode lets you choose songs, while License Test challenges assess your skill through song sets and Our Outer Space offers arranged course challenges. Clearing parts of the adventure mode can unlock some songs for free play.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its soundtrack, chart design, and lane-changing mechanic, which gives keyboard rhythm play a distinctive twist. Some also like the space-themed presentation and Shii. Adventure mode, allowing players to get a glimpse into the story of Sixtar Gate, is currently in the works.

Featuring songs from artists any rhythm game fan would recognize, including Life is PIANO, Brain Power, and CO5M1C R4ILR0AD.
We have also included original songs from artists like Sound Souler, KARUT, and yomoha that can only be heard in Sixtar Gate: STARTRAIL.
In the future, we are planning to introduce new tracks from well-known franchises like VOCALOID and Touhou Project that players would not easily find in other rhythm games.
