In a ninja world where two rival nations face an invasion by mechanical ninjas, characters from Neptunia and SENRAN KAGURA join forces. Choose two fighters from a roster of ten and switch between them during the adventure.
Battle through missions against groups of enemies and bosses using melee attacks, each character’s Ninja Art Skills, and projectiles that can inflict damage or status ailments. You can also guard, dodge, and unleash special attacks.
Develop your fighters with experience, equipment, and Spirit Gems that boost stats, including through specific gem arrangements. The Peaches & Cream Meditation minigame grants extra battle boosts, while post-game Yomi-Training offers eight restricted challenge trials.
Players who enjoyed the game often point to the characters, humor, and crossover banter, along with accessible action and flashy attacks. Some also appreciate trying different fighters and building them through upgrades. Reactions to combat are mixed: several players found it fun, while others called it shallow, stiff, or repetitive. Recurring criticisms also include repetitive missions and enemy types, lengthy dialogue, and less SENRAN KAGURA-style fanservice than they expected.
