You take the night shift for a mysterious organization, watching surveillance feeds and trying to keep each monitored location under control until 6:00 AM. The horror centers on noticing when familiar rooms stop looking quite right.

Cycle between camera views and compare each room with what you remember. Anomalies can include objects that move, appear, or disappear, as well as intruders and ghosts. Report what you find by selecting the relevant location and, in some levels, the anomaly type; too many unresolved anomalies end the shift.

The game has six levels with two reporting formats. In three, you identify both the location and type of anomaly; in the other three, you report only the room and have a limited number of incorrect reports. Anomalies appear at random, so each shift calls for continued observation rather than relying on a fixed sequence.
