Solar Ash

You play as Rei, a Voidrunner venturing into the Ultravoid to stop it from consuming her planet. Across remnants of worlds swallowed by the void, she searches for a way to power the Starseed and encounters other survivors.

Move quickly through each area by skating, jumping, boosting, grappling, and grinding rails. Shifting gravity lets Rei run along unusual surfaces, while platforming challenges and puzzles open routes and help her clear obstacles.

Each region leads to a giant creature: find and activate its vulnerable points, then race across and climb its body to strike them in timed sequences. Optional quests, character records, and hidden caches add further exploration, with collectibles unlocking suits.

Players who enjoy the game often highlight its fast, fluid skating and platforming, unusual gravity-bending spaces, and striking art direction. Giant-creature encounters, atmospheric music, and the story also stand out for some. Others find the boss sequences imprecise or repetitive, the routes difficult to read, and the story unclear or less engaging.
