A student is caught up in a conflict between angels and demons in a devastated version of Tokyo. After merging with the demon Aogami to become a Nahobino, the protagonist must choose how to shape the world. The game offers two story paths, Canon of Creation and Canon of Vengeance, with different characters and events.
Explore broad, post-apocalyptic regions, searching for items, taking on side quests, and finding routes through varied terrain. Demons roam the areas and can become allies; conversations with them also provide ways to recruit them. The Demon Haunt lets you interact with recruited demons.
Combat is turn-based and rewards exploiting enemy weaknesses while protecting your own team from them. Recruit more than 270 demons, then fuse them to create new allies and pass along skills. Customize your protagonist and demon team as you progress, adapting your lineup and tactics for difficult battles.
