Once upon a time a katamari rolled through both past and present. In this story across time, the adage endures: Let The Good Times Roll! Now onward through new worlds to roll up thy heart's desires and to restore the stars!

When the King accidentally destroys Earth, the Moon, and other planets, the Prince must roll a katamari to restore the stars. The journey moves through eras including the Jurassic period, the Ice Age, and historic Japan.
Roll over objects smaller than your katamari to make it grow and reach new areas. Stages set different goals, such as growing as large as possible, rolling quickly, or collecting specific kinds of objects. Power-ups include a magnet, a speed boost, a time-stopping watch, and a radar for locating collectibles.
Replay stages to improve ranks, complete challenges, and find crowns, presents, and cousins. Choose from the Prince and his cousins, with options to customize cousin colors and faces. KatamariBall offers four-player competition online or against CPU opponents offline.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its familiar, quirky rolling gameplay, era-themed stages, music, and the added power-ups and customization. Some also appreciate the stage objectives and collectibles that encourage replaying levels.
