Cryptmaster

Four long-dead heroes are brought back by the Cryptmaster, a sardonic necromancer, and must make their way up through the buried world. As they explore its strange regions and meet its inhabitants, they piece together lost memories and take on quests.

Words drive exploration and combat: type guesses to solve riddles, open containers, answer characters, and use the heroes’ abilities against enemies. The dungeon is explored room by room, with combat available in real-time or turn-based play.

Finding letters and solving puzzles lets the party guess words tied to their former lives, unlocking memories and new skills; the letters in each hero’s name also track their health. Fishing and a collectible-card minigame offer diversions along the way.
